La Ceiba is a powerful and spiritual tree from Cuba; there are many legends and stories about them. Some people say that mystical creatures Guijes gather around big Ceibas to do their mischief. For me it is the name of my grandfather’s rancho, a place I used to go to play in my early childhood.
